Details About Event:

Ballet Bloch Canada presents The Nutcracker at Kay Meek Arts Centre on 11-12 December. Children in and around Vancouver participate every year in our Nutcracker production – a beloved holiday tradition celebrated through the beauty of dance and music. We foster a coming together of all dance schools and performing genre to build a shared community in dance.

Our open auditions on Saturday 19 September offer dancers many opportunities from: young ballerina roles as Mice and Bon-Bons, to Corps de Ballet experience in Snowflakes and Flowers, to lead characters like Clara, Rat Queen and Nutcracker Doll/Prince. The beautiful Dream Clara and exquisite Sugarplum Fairy gain experience and exposure in Pas de Deux (partnering work).

A magical production that offers performances in December. Register to audition and share the stage to mark this extraordinary event. An exciting Christmas story for the whole family.
